Creative evenings for adults with Elsha Leventis at the RedEye Studio Gallery

Sessions are suitable for all skill levels. Each evening will begin with a short discussion or demonstration. While participants can attend all eight sessions or select four sessions of their choice or select one session, each session stands on its own. Please bring your own materials; we’ll supply the easels, paper, and the water!



The Instructor/artist, Elsha Leventis
Working from her studio in the Distillery, instructor Elsha Leventis is a professional contemporary artist known for her abstract paintings based on eye imagery in oils on Mylar. A graduate of both the Ontario College of Art and Design and the Toronto Art Therapy Institute, she brings a fresh perspective into her workshops. Her work has appeared at the Toronto Art Expo, the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, and the Interior Design Show, as well as in Canadian House and Home and Style at Home. Elsha is represented by Canvas Gallery and RedEye Gallery in Toronto, In2Art in Oakville, Viva Vida in Montreal and David Boyes Design Concepts in Waterloo. Sessions are held every Tuesday night from 6.30-9pm at the RedEye Studio Gallery in the Distillery District.

Sessions are $25 each, $90 for four sessions of your choice. Participants bring their own supplies. Spaces are limited to 8 participants.

Materials: Canvas for each session (16 by 20 is a good size), disposable palette (store bought or Styrofoam trays), brushes (at least one small, medium and large), palette knife, plastic containers for water, acrylic paints, matte medium. Optional: gels for texture.
