Creative Playtime with Baby, Sessions for 18-36 month olds and 3-5 year olds at My Artlab

Art Strollers is pleased to offer in partnership with My Artlab the Creative Playtime with Baby series. Every session parents and babies touch, feel, play with, move through and enjoy a new set-up in the studio. We will use music and songs to animate them and pictures, shapes and textures to create and invent new ways to play and bond. Sessions lasts 1 hour and are offered on Wednesdays at 12.30pm and Saturdays at 10am for families. Session are designed for babies from 5-18 months.

Themes for January 2012

Creative Playtime's theme will be Squiggles and Giggles. We will explore fun ways to play and introduce the little fingers to colours, shapes and textures.

18-36 months workshops: Skip through the seasons. Every class kids will explore another season through play with a variety of materials, songs and movement.

3-5 year olds: Art Play. Every class kids will discover a new artwork through blown up reproductions. They will be invited to talk about it and notice interesting details. They will play games involving movement and music as well as creating their own artwork inspired by the theme.

Sessions for Children 18 months to 5 years old are adapted to the children's evolving artistic developments and feature creative and enticing themes for art.

My Artlab is a studio offering creative workshops to kids of all ages. Also a space for creation of theatre sets, costumes and props, the studio allows children the freedom to explore a wide variety of materials and mediums. Stories, music and videos introduce kids to different themes and inspire a beginning of an exciting and unique creative process. Workshop is offered in a series of 10 consecutive weekly sessions. Each group of session offers a theme which will be explored in depth in the course of the weeks. Winter 2012 sessions started January 11th.

Price for the six sessions is $110 per child. If you are part of a moms group and five or more moms will be purchasing, the price is $90 if all purchased at once. Contact us if you want the moms to purchase it individually at the group rate.

Terms and Conditions
For individual workshops or tours: Cancellations leading up to the day of the workshop/tour will be eligible for 75% refund. Cancellations the day of or a no show are not available for a refund or a credit. In the case of a missed workshop/tour, one make-up workshop/tour is available for reschedule. The make-up will be discussed with Art Strollers and will depend on availabilities.
For the Music in the Barns series: cancellation of the series prior to the start of the series is eligible for a 75% refund. No refunds are issued following the start of the series. In a case of a missed class, one make-up class will be scheduled during the series and will be available to attend. Joining classes part of a later series is not permitted.

I understand that Art Strollers Corporation will take photographs during their events and that these photographs will not be used for commercial gain and could on occasion be displayed on the Art Strollers Corporation website at www.artstrollers.com or other marketing and editorial initiatives. I will advise Art Strollers Corporation if I do not want to be included in the photographs taken at each and such event.
