Art Walks and Guided Museum tours

Bringing children and art together, our guided tours offer a rich cultural activity for parent and child. Perfectly suited for a mom and baby activity. We will include interactive activities for toddlers and school aged children. We work with the museums and Walk TO, the walking tour guide company, to best structure the tours to cater to our specific group needs. Tours are guided, small and private. Fathers, grand-parents, friends, aunts and uncles are always welcomed.

AGO - Muse, Mistress, Mother, Model and Maker: Women in Art
Discover the role of women through the AGO’s collections, including European, Canadian, African, Photography and Contemporary. Over the centuries, women have evolved from muse and model to creator. Explore their unique contribution to historical and contemporary art.

The tour is led by an AGO education officer. Groups are kept small and intimate. Tours offer a friendly and inviting discovery of the gallery and overview of the exhibit. Tour costs includes museum admission and art consultant services.

The tour is $32 per adult and children under 6. $10 for children above 6 years of age. Additional parent, grand-parent, friend or relative is $25. Fee for AGO members is $15: contact us if you are an AGO member or wish to bring a guest, a separate payment link will be sent to you. Applicable taxes are not included in fee. Registrars can browse the AGO at their leisure following the tour.

For individual workshops or tours: Cancellations leading up to the day of the workshop/tour will be eligible for 75% refund. Cancellations the day of or a no show are not available for a refund or a credit. In the case of a missed workshop/tour, one make-up workshop/tour is available for reschedule. The make-up will be discussed with Art Strollers and will depend on availabilities.
For the Music in the Barns series: cancellation of the series prior to the start of the series is eligible for a 75% refund. No refunds are issued following the start of the series. In a case of a missed class, one make-up class will be scheduled during the series and will be available to attend. Joining classes part of a later series is not permitted.

Waiver of Liability
By Clicking on "I have read and agree with the terms and conditions and the waiver of liability." the "I" refers to the Art Strollers Corporation registrar hereby referred to as the "Undersigned" and agrees to the following: the Undersigned, for herself/himself, his personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin hereby releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue Art Strollers Corporation and each of them, their directors, officers, agents and employees, all for the purpose herein referred to as "Releasees" from all liability to the Undersigned, his personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin for any and all loss or damage, and any claims or demands thereof on account of injury to the person or property, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise. I understand that Art Strollers Corporation will take photographs during their events and that these photographs will not be used for commercial gain and could on occasion be displayed on the Art Strollers Corporation website at www.artstrollers.com or other marketing and editorial initiatives. I will advise Art Strollers Corporation if I do not want to be included in the photographs taken at each and such event.

AGO - Picasso - Master Pieces from the Musee National Picasso, Paris
In 2012 the AGO presents a major survey of masterworks by the most inventive and influential artist of the 20th century, Pablo Picasso. Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris features more than 150 highlights from the Musée’s unparalleled collection, including paintings, sculptures, prints and drawings. The exhibition will be on view at the AGO from May 1 through August 26, 2012.

The collection of the Musée National Picasso, Paris comprises more than 5,000 works that Picasso kept for himself and his family over the course of his career, ranging from informal sketchbooks to iconic masterpieces. Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris is touring the world while the Musée undergoes a multi-year renovation.
