Guided Museum / Art Fair Tours
Our tours are all about a rich cultural experience for mothers. We work with the museums to best structure the tours to cater to our specific group needs. Tours are guided, small and private. Fathers, grand-parents, friends, aunts and uncles are always welcomed. Tours are stroller friendly and include caregiver assistance. Babies and children are with mothers at all time. Activities for toddlers can be included at no extra cost and should be discussed with us prior to the start of the tours.

The Gardiner Museum

The Gardiner Museum offers an intimate look at one of the world’s oldest and most universal forms of art and material culture—ceramics. Complemented by special exhibitions, the collection exceeds 3,000 historical and contemporary pieces and spans continents and time, giving you an extraordinary glimpse into the development of the ceramic process, decoration and shape. Join us in this private guided tour where we will visit their permanent collection as well as some parts of their special exhibits.
This stroller friendly tour starts at 2pm and runs for 1 hour. Moms can browse the museum at their leisure following the tour.
The tour is $22 per adult. Additional parent, grand-parent, friend or relative is $20. Taxes are not included in the tour fee.

The Artist Project

Join us for a privately guided tours through the Artist Project, The Artist Project is a meeting ground for artists, collectors and art enthusiasts. View and purchase original art from over 175 carefully juried contemporary artists and enjoy an eclectic program of talks, special features and art installations. In this guided tour, we will learn about various types of art, visit the artists working with the mediums and hear from the artists their methods and inspirations. The tour lasts approximately 1 hour after which you are free to browse the exhibition grounds.
The tour is $12 per adult. The Artist Project takes place at the Queen Elizabeth Building, Exhibition Place.

AGO - Rembrandt/ Freud: Etchings from Life

This exhibition creates an opportunity for a visual conversation across the centuries between two great masters of the human form, Rembrandt van Rijn and Lucian Freud. Both artists regarded printmaking as an integral part of their art practice and created extraordinary images using the etching process. Uncompromising and direct, their etchings of the human face and the human body go beyond surface appearance to expose the inner life of their subjects. The exhibition juxtaposes self-portraits, "naked portraits" (nudes) and portraits of family and friends.The exhibition includes 20 etchings by Freud on loan from the Mira Godard Gallery, the McMaster Museum of Art and several private collectors, and 30 works from the AGO's extensive collection of etchings by Rembrandt. This collection was greatly enhanced by a generous gift from Esther and Sam Sarick in 2006.
The tour is lead by an AGO education officer, groups are kept small and intimate. Tours offer a friendly and inviting discovery of the gallery. Tour costs includes museum admission and art consultant services.
The tour is $28 per adult and child under 6, $10 for children above 6 years of age. Additional parent, grand-parent, friend or relative is $25. Fee for AGO members is $15, enter the details into the comments box upon registration. Applicable taxes are not included in fee.Registrars can browse the AGO at their leisure following the tour.

Textile Museum of Canada

The Textile Museum of Canada is one of Toronto's most engaging visual arts organizations. With more than 12,000 objects from more than 200 countries and regions, the TMC's permanent collection celebrates cultural diversity and includes traditional fabrics, garments, carpets and related artifacts such as beadwork and basketry. The Museum offers a broad variety of exhibitions including themed shows based on our permanent collection and contemporary exhibitions of the work of Canadian and international artists.Join us in this private guided tour where we will visit their collections as well as engage in hands-on activities for the toddlers. Given the smaller space, baby carriers are encouraged.
The tour is $22 per adult. Additional parent, grand-parent, friend or relative is $20. Taxes are not included in the tour fee.

A secured link for payment via credit card will be sent to you with your registration confirmation e-mail. Check payments are accepted and should be discussed with the Art Strollers.
Payment is to be received no later than 10 days following the registration or by the start of the class, whichever comes first.
Refund Policy and missed classes
Cancellations leading up to the start of the class series will be eligible for 70% refund. No refunds are available on or after the beginning of the class series. Individual classes are not refundable.
In the case of a missed class, one make-up class is available for reschedule. The make-up will be discussed with Art Strollers and will depend on availabilities.
Waiver of Liability
By Clicking on "I have read and agree with the terms and conditions and the waiver of liability." the "I" refers to the Art Strollers Corporation registrar hereby referred to as the "Undersigned" and agrees to the following: the Undersigned, for herself/himself, his personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin hereby releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue Art Strollers Corporation and each of them, their directors, officers, agents and employees, all for the purpose herein referred to as “Releasees,” from all liability to the Undersigned, his personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin for any and all loss or damage, and any claims or demands thereof on account of injury to the person or property, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.
