Art Strollers
Music in the Barn's Early Childhood Music Program is designed to introduce children to the fundamentals of classical music: rhythm, melody, harmony, tempo, dynamics and articulation. In class, children learn by moving to music, singing, and shake, tap and druming to the beat. Children will also explore the instruments of the orchestra, play rhythmic games and are exposed to music from composers such as Bach, Mozart and Beethoven. Finger strengthening, physical coordination and fine motor development games are also incorporated to open the possibility for future instrumental
study. Children will also benefit from exposure to aspects of the Suzuki method, primarily the "Twinkle Rhythms", which is presented creatively in each class.

Early Childhood Music Classes at Music In the Barn - Winter Tuesday morning series
Ten consecutive Tuesdays at Music In the Barns at the Wychwood Barns.

Sessions are for Children ages 3 months to 3 years accompanied with a caregiver.

Next session is on Tuesday April 10th and run for10 Tuesdays until June 12th.

Classes run from 10.15-11am. In each class you will:

1. Learn the Composers
2. Meet the instruments of the orchestra
3. Explore rhythms and dynamics
4. Sing new songs
5. Dance, shake and move to the music

Classes are $250 plus applicable taxes for ten sessions and can be purchased below.

Cancellations the day of or a no show are not available for a refund or a credit. In the case of a missed workshop/tour, one make-up workshop/tour is available for reschedule. The make-up will be discussed with Art Strollers and will depend on availabilities.
For the Music in the Barns series: cancellation of the series prior to the start of the series is eligible for a 75% refund. No refunds are issued following the start of the series. In a case of a missed class, one make-up class will be scheduled during the series and will be available to attend. Joining classes part of a later series is not permitted.

Music Classes for 3-5 year olds at Music In the Barn - Winter Thursday afternoon series
Ten consecutive Thursdays at Music In the Barns at the Wychwood Barns.

Sessions are for Children ages 3 to 5 years. This is a drop-off class.

Next session is on Thursday April 12th and run for 10 consecutive Tuesdays until June 14th.

Classes run from 4:15-5:00 pm. In each class the hildren will:

1. Explore the Composers
2. Meet the instruments of the orchestra and the instrument families
3. Explore rhythms and dynamics
4. Sing new songs
5. Learn advanced and in-depth note reading

Taught by Tova Rosenberg who is the creator of NYC Premier School for Strings Early Childhood Education Programme. She currently teaches at the Etobicoke School and has created this exciting new program for Music in the Barns .

Classes are $125 plus applicable taxes for the six remaining sessions and can be purchased below.
