Family Edition of Simply Babies! with photographer Andrew Taylor

Andrew Taylor, founder of Clear Pixel Images, invites you and your family to join us in a photography session which will emphasize on capturing the simple moments. Conveniently taking place on the weekends, the workshop is set for couples and/or family members to attend so that they can be a part of the experience and interact with the children. The focus of the Family edition workshop will be to portray the strong connection children have with their family and parents. Following the 1 hour workshop, participants will receive 20-40 professional images.During the workshop, families will engage in an artistic activity while Andrew snaps away parents and tots in action.
Workshop best suited for parents with infants and toddlers up to 5. Older children are welcomed and will participate in a customized art activity.

Sunday September 5th, 10am in the Art Square Gallery and Cafe located at 334 Dundas West in front of the AGO.
Workshop fees are:
$45 per family, including two adults and up to 2 siblings for all images printable up to 4*6"
$60 per family, including two adults and up to 2 siblings for all images printable up to 6*9"
$70 per family, including two adults and up to 2 siblings for all images printable up to 10*15"
$75 per family, including two adults and up to 2 siblings for all images printable up to 12*18"
Each additional children and accompanying guests pay $10. Workshop fee includes supplies and the images taken during the workshop. For large print formats, additional fees will apply. Applicable taxes are not included in workshop fee.

Walk T.O.'s Green Walk

Are Hogtown's green efforts hogwash? This one-hour walking tour of Toronto’s most creative green sites – from eco-galleries, to rooftop gardens to living walls and bike ring design – hear stories of the people and places that are giving the city an eco-over – one clothesline at a time.
Start at 401 Richmond and end at 215 Spadina, home to Dark Horse Espresso Cafe. The tour visits one green rooftop, and a different type of green roof (at 215 Spadina) is optional and the guide will take any interested clients to visit it (by elevator or stairs) at the end of the tour.
Walk T.O. is a Toronto company run by a teacher and a journalist - we'll show you the sole of the city, www.walkto.ca.

Family Card Design Workshop with Muffymade

What does your family look like? What are the details that make your family unit unique? Art Strollers is partnering up with muffymade (www.muffymade.com)to offer a workshop that will explore just that. 
Come to The Art Square Gallery and meet with muffymade's head designer, Meredith Shaw. She will work with you to create a custom hand drawn design of you and your family that you can then choose to have framed, made into notecards, address lables or even custom wrapped chocolates!
You know you have a wonderful family....let's honour it through creativity. Make This be the year that you communicate in cute, custom style!!
Workshop fee and information
Workshop fee is $45 plus applicable taxes. Workshop fee includes a design consultation with Meredith Shaw where you can actually watch her process. Children of all ages are welcomed to the workshop. Children who are old enough to draw will be given materials to spur their creativity along with Meredith. Groups are kept small to ensure you have sufficient time with Meredith while she creates your custom hand drawn design.
Beyond the workshop fee you may then choose to have the design framed ($15.00), or turned into notecards (25 notecard minimum @ $2.00 each), labels (minimum of 3 sheets of 30 labels @ $10.00 each sheet) or chocolates (50 -piece minimum @ 0.95 each).

Tour registration
A confirmation will be sent to you no later than 24 hours following your registration.
Guest Policy
Fathers, grand-parents, friends, aunts and uncles are welcomed to join the class. All guests are to be communicated with Art Strollers either at the time of registration or prior to the tour. Costs per guest are indicated under each workshop and vary from workshop to workshop.
Payment Policy
A secured link for payment via credit card will be sent to you with your registration confirmation e-mail. Check payments are accepted and should be discussed with the Art Strollers.
Payment is to be received no later than 10 days following the registration or by the start of the class, whichever comes first.
Refund Policy and missed classes
Cancellations leading up to the start of the class series will be eligible for 70% refund. No refunds are available on or after the beginning of the class series. Individual classes are not refundable.
In the case of a missed class, one make-up class is available for reschedule. The make-up will be discussed with Art Strollers and will depend on availabilities.
Waiver of Liability
By Clicking on "I have read and agree with the terms and conditions and the waiver of liability." the "I" refers to the Art Strollers Corporation registrar hereby referred to as the "Undersigned" and agrees to the following: the Undersigned, for herself/himself, his personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin hereby releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue Art Strollers Corporation and each of them, their directors, officers, agents and employees, all for the purpose herein referred to as “Releasees,” from all liability to the Undersigned, his personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin for any and all loss or damage, and any claims or demands thereof on account of injury to the person or property, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise. The Undersigned hereby agreed to indemnify and save and hold harmless the Releasees and each of them from any loss, liability, damage or cost they may incur arising out of or related to the event(s) whether caused by negligence of the Releasees or otherwise. I understand that Art Strollers Corporation will take photographs during their events and that these photographs will not be used for commercial gain and could on occasion be displayed on the Art Strollers Corporation website at www.artstrollers.com or other marketing and editorial initiatives. I will advise Art Strollers Corporation if I do not want to be included in the photographs taken at each and such event.
